Last night my family went out to dinner at a brand new restaurant located in the Shops at the Riverwoods in Provo. For those of you who aren’t aware – the Riverwoods is under new ownership and has undergone an amazing transformation. Right now is a great time to come see the changes, as they have the most amazing Christmas lights right now. I will do a blog post soon on all the new things at the Riverwoods and link it here – like Blickenstaffs Toy Shop!
The restaurant is called “La Jolla Groves”. They are dedicated to serving fresh, healthy and affordable food. The ambiance of the restaurant is absolutely lovely, a sort of french country feel. The service is top notch and the food is to die for! When I say affordable, most of their entrees are in the $12-$16 range and nothing over $20. They also feature a year-round indoor farmers market. I had the shrimp pasta and it was incredible. I felt as if I was eating something that would have been served at a much fancier and much more expensive restaurant. I was disappointed when there was nothing left in my plate… however, their affordable desserts cured that! I had the berries over vanilla ice cream in a flavorful edible bowl. To say I had a great experience at La Jolla Groves would be an understatement! I went to the front of the restaurant and made reservations for tonight to take my executive team there for a strategic planning meeting and cancelled my reservation at another restaurant! I am looking forward to trying something new tonight!
