NAR’s 59 and a Half Minutes

Home Ownership MattersA staple of NAR’s Annual Conference and Mid-Year Meetings is the 59 and a Half Minutes – a member and director update. It’s kind of like all the cool things NAR is up to, packed into, well, 59 and a half minutes! It’s always one of my highlights and this one was no exception!

This year was kicked off with a rousing rendition of “You Raise Me Up” by REALTOR® Stephen Antoni, which was very inspirational. It kind of set the tone for this year’s meeting which I would sum up with as “Be Proud That You Are a REALTOR®”!

The meeting included the following highlights:

REALTOR® Relief Foundation

Homeownership Matters Bus Tour

Public Advocacy Campaign – “Future Generations”

NAR’s Five Point Plan for Housing Recovery

REALTOR® Benefits add Chrysler $500 Cash Bonus

As always, 59 and a Half Minutes did not disappoint! Please be sure to stop by and sign NAR’s “DO NO HARM” petition to Congress on the Expo floor at some point during the conference.
