2011 NAR Annual Conference and Expo

November is always a great time of year. You’ve got NFL Football in full swing, Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas decorating, and of course my favorite – NAR’s Annual Conference and Expo!

NAR Annual Logo 2011There are many things I am excited to do at this years conference and expo in Anaheim, California. Let me share just a few of them with you:

  1. Friends – Seeing old friends and making new ones is always one of my favorite things about NAR Annual. Be sure to bring lots of business cards and make a concerted effort to meet new people. You’ll create some incredible friendships that will last a lifetime.
  2. Educational Opportunities – As always, NAR Annual is jam packed with opportunities to learn from amazing people. Download the mobile app to be sure you don’t miss a thing. Here are a few I am really excited about:
  3. Governance Meetings – Many of the committee meetings are open to the membership. Pick a subject that interests you and go sit in and learn what your fellow members are doing on your behalf. Also, if you are in early on Thursday, don’t miss the Strategic Planning Idea Exchange and also the 59  1/2 Minutes: A Member & Director Update.
  4. EXPO! – This is always one of my favorites because you get to see the latest and greatest in technology, marketing and professional development. You will not want to miss the expo grand opening on Friday 11-11-11 from 4-7 pm. And don’t miss the many special events that will take place throughout the expo. Be sure to visit NAR’s booth #439 – there is always something good going on there!
  5. NAR Conference Live – It’s your online window to #NARannual – 2011 Conference Live will feature all the video footage, news, and buzz from the event in Anaheim. Whether you’re attending the event in person, or experiencing it from your computer and mobile device, join in the conversation live November 11-14.
  6. Celebrity Concert and REALTORS® Got Talent – Back by popular demand REALTORS® Got Talent will be the pre-show to this years celebrity concert with Diana Ross. This is always a packed event and another great opportunity to network and mingle with your peers!
  7. Anaheim and Disneyland – Anaheim is a great city and of course there is Disneyland. NAR has partnered with Disney to provide discount and twilight tickets. I would highly recommend catching the new Disney show World of Color! Check out what Anaheim has to offer.

I could go on and on but I need to get busy packing! I hope you make the most of this year’s conference. Remember… you get out of conference what you put in to conference!
I hope we get a chance to meet up during NAR Annual! Just tweet me up – @utahREpro

    Hi there Chris:

Can you give me an idea about how much the full conference cost for 2011?
