July 2011 Utah County Housing Statistics

Housing StatisticsJuly closed sales jumped 21.4% over last July’s sales! This was expected with the number of pending sales in the pipeline. This pushed our YTD sales into positive numbers with our cumulative YTD closed sales up 2.2% for the year.

Pending sales still continue to push upward with an increase of 31% over last years numbers and 9.4% YTD. Inventory levels are still dropping with an 18.3% decrease year to year and 15.2% decrease YTD. Another interesting stat to note was the drop in days on market from 88 to 78 days, a drop of 11.7%. Our months supply of inventory is at it’s lowest in 3 years as we are now at 9.2 months to sell our current inventory.
