Extend Your Battery Life

Yeah… We all recognize this lovely image on our cell phones! But did you know that there are some tried and proven tricks and tips to extend your battery life, especially when you are at the NARdiGras Conference?

The first one is probably the most effective, as it is the biggest culprit in draining your batteries vital juices: Pay attention to your signal strength and wireless connections. You see the problem at conferences is you are generally in a big building that has a tendency to block, hamper and impede signal strength. When this happens your cell phone desperately tries searching for a network connection. Result = battery drain! If you notice you don’t get signal during a session… turn off your phone. It will love you for this… I promise!

Here are some other tips and tricks for extending battery life:

  1. Turn off the vibrating alert
  2. Lower your screen brightness
  3. Turn off your GPS feature
  4. Turn off unnecessary apps running in background
  5. Change your e-mail settings from automatic to manual
  6. Turn off your bluetooth

These are just a few easy tips to help you stay connected longer during a conference!
