REALTORS Love Their Acronyms!

Did you know that In 1943 the term acronym was coined by David Davis of Bell Laboratories as the name for a word created from the first letters of each word in a series of words? Since then the world has embraced them whole heartedly! The Military and Technology world is renowned for their use of 3 and 4 letter jargon that tends to baffle most if not everyone! As REALTORS we seem to be running a close 3rd place to the Militarty and Techies. Our list of acronyms seems to be growing each year. Here’s an acronym list that NAR provides on their website.

So this just begs two questions:

1. What is your favorite Real Estate acronym?

2. Do you have a funny Real Estate acronym story to share with us?
